iced in and...he wrote, he wrote, he wrote!

yes, this is the serious ice storm...

that closed us down for 2 days...

this is the best picture of ice that i could find...

i'm not a meteorologist- don't even know if i spelled it correctly- but i don't get freezing rain. it just seems that if it is cold enough, and there is precipitation falling...that it should be SNOW- not ice chips! (incredibly- 500 reported accidents today because of the icy roads) anyway...em and i had a happy day of being 'iced' in. we made brownies, played facebook scrabble, and watched american idol to enjoy the time away :)(also cleaned out a closet- i seriously have more bath and body products than anyone else other than bath and body!)

oh! and happily enough, em is going to EFY! she'll attend the denton location.

also...

i've posted tay's 10th letter and a new pic of him and his companion- and i'm hoping that i can get the other photos in a day or so...!

I love days like that! And fun to have Em home to share. :-) We watched American Idol too. I'm anxious to see David Osmond tomorrow night. Wonder what happened with him. Now I'm off to read Elder Barron's email! Love ya.

I think being iced in would be fun! I always wish that they would do some closures around here once in a while! I am so excited for Em and EFY. It truly was one of the greatest experiences of my life as a teen. Super fun!!! Just read Tay's letter. He sounds great as always! Looking forward to seeing more pics of him! Love ya!

we had a fun day "iced in" too. freddy stayed home from work and we all played games and then when it got warmer we went out to the mall and played at the arcade, and saw twilight (again). sounds like you and emily have a good time together. being a mom is fun isn't it?

I wondered why you were up so early baking! How fun to be iced in. I am so happy for Em to be going to EFY. Andy counts his time at EFY as some of the best. Love you!

Sounds like the two of you made the best of a bad weather day. That kind of weather is fairly rare here in Utah, but I remember that it happened every now and then in Eastern Canada and New England. It's crazy to try to drive, even walk, on days like that.
Glad to hear that Em gets to go to EFY this summer. Those are always special experiences.
Love ya much.
