it's official... Tay's papers are in!!!

the stake pres. pushed the electronic button last night and we are beyond excited! i'll post the email he sent me:

I submitted the application just minutes ago.

Best case Taylor’s application gets reviewed next week and placed on the agenda for assignment next Friday, August 30th. Packets with missionary assignments normally leave Salt Lake the following Tuesday or Wednesday but with the holiday that would probably be Wednesday or Thursday the 4th. He’s got a few things in the application that may raise a couple questions so it’s very possible it might be a week or two beyond that. I don’t anticipate major delays, but perhaps just some clarification required. It doesn’t take much to put it out a week or two, but now we know it’s in the hands of the Brethren and ultimately the Prophet.

the few things that are mentioned above could be his health paperwork, could be his little stint with the law last oct... i don't honestly know.

so there ya go! or... we go! but most definitely... he goes!!!

It's absolutely amazing that Taylor has grown up so fast! Hope you can find someone to video when he opens his envelope. Maybe we can be on the phone listening too. That would be great. We love you three so much! Mom

We are all very proud of Taylor and his desire to serve and anxious to find out where the Lord wants him to spend the next couple of years. It seems that he has suddenly just grown up. A little boy one minute, and young man on a mission the next. It is such a wonderful and amazing thing. We will also be anxious to know how the patriarchal blessing goes. That's also a major event in his life. You'll get a little glimpse into what a great spirit that young man possess.
So many great things coming all at once. And so many years in the preparation. Congratulations, Rhonda, for helping him achieve this wonderful milestone in his life. You've done a tremendous thing here. We love you.
